NSRA conferences focus on the changing aspects of independent
footwear retailing to help shape your business future.

Designed to refresh and revitalize enthusiasm for retailing success, attending our events

NSRA Education Conferences

Complimentary for show attendees, this half-day program takes place every February and August, the day before MICAM Americas at the MAGIC tradeshow in Las Vegas (August 2020 live event cancelled). With an afternoon agenda, retailers can conveniently travel in the morning, network and sharpen their business skills during the afternoon, enjoy the evening with friends or colleagues and be ready for show business the next day.

NSRA Retail Training Workshop

Also complimentary to show attendees, this morning seminar takes place every February and August (August 2020 live event cancelled) during the Atlanta Shoe Market show. Before the show opens that morning, we encourage retailers to join us for continental breakfast and benefit from 90 minutes of quality retail education.

Exclusive NSRA Member Event!
This two-day conference takes place every November in a different city and has become the premier event for independent footwear retailers from the U.S. and Canada. Program features include nationally recognized speakers, peer-to-peer networking, vendor exhibits and social evening events.
Registration packages are all-inclusive and include all sessions and events, food & beverage, and hotel accommodations! With thanks to the generous support of our education sponsors and exhibitors, cost is minimal with special member benefit pricing.


Traditional events during the conference include:

"NSRA Gives Back" with Soles4Souls
On the first morning of the conference, NSRA and Soles4Souls join together for a charity distribution event in the destination city's surrounding area, to provide hundreds of pairs of shoes to those in need. It's a rewarding experience for attendees and tradition that we are honored to be a part of.

Networking & Social Dinner Event
Each year, the conference includes a social dinner and networking event in a special location or setting that is selected to provide a memorable experience for our guests while they network with their peers.

Networking Reception & Awards Dinner Banquet
To celebrate important industry achievements among the NSRA member community (past and present), NSRA dedicates one evening to recognize its Retailer of the Year, Vendor of the Year, and Hall of Fame Inductees. This event includes a networking reception party and formal dining experience that guests can enjoy dressing up for.
