Tucson, AZ (August 5, 2015) – The National Shoe Retailers Association has announced that Timberland has been named the sole sponsor of "NSRA Gives Back” event with Soles4Souls at the association’s Annual Leadership Conference on November 19, 2015 in Charleston, South Carolina.

Timberland is graciously donating shoes, socks, and financial support for the event, at which conference attendees will fit shoes for children at Mitchell Elementary School in Charleston. The event provides footwear for those in need. Last year over 500 people at The Chapman Partnership in Miami were fitted with new shoes – a record for the event. NSRA, Soles4Souls and Timberland hope to exceed that number this year.

"Timberland has a long history with the NSRA. We were proud to co-sponsor a community service event with Soles4Souls and NSRA in Miami last November, and will repeat this event in Charleston this coming November,” said Hugh Lappe, Sales Director East. "We love working with NSRA as we have a common vision of "giving back” to the community. They show this as an organization at their annual convention and every day with individual members in their home communities. For NSRA and Timberland, it is a way of life. When we can do it together, it is even better.”
