Employee selling techniques are crucial to the success of your business. To assist members with sales training, NSRA offers a DVD that will help veterans add to their already developed arsenal. There is also a bonus section for managers.
The Wiser Selling DVD is an exceedingly flexible education program that slices the training process into six segments, or "bites” that can be achieved in an actual shoe store environment— even for a part-timer. The sequence of the DVD allows all employees to work at their own pace without sacrificing learning impact.
There is a particular focus on the use of role-play as a training tool. Each segment includes role-play vignettes demonstrating visually the skills being taught in the program. In most cases, there are multiple examples of how to achieve success with WISER Selling, since WISER Selling emphasizes principle, not process. Along with the DVD, there is an accompanying workbook to provide practice in the new skills covered in each bite. An observer worksheet is included to guide you in giving effective and constructive feedback from the role-plays. Lastly, each segment ends with a test to check for comprehension – with a Final Exam to pass.
BONUS: The WISER DVD includes a special section for managers and store owners on how to effectively "coach” their sales team to success in WISER Selling. The coaching section offers suggestions on working with sales team members who
may be intimidated or otherwise hesitant about role-playing.
