NSRA hosts conferences that focus on changing aspects of independent footwear retailing to help shape your business future. Designed to refresh and revitalize enthusiasm for retailing success, attending our events is a rewarding experience for retailers committed to effective business leadership.
NSRA Education Conferences are held the day before FN PLATFORM Shoe Show at MAGIC Market Week, twice a year at the Las Vegas Convention Center. NSRA has partnered with FN PLATFORM, the largest shoe show in the United States, to provide educational programming for independent footwear retailers. These half-day programs, allow retailers to travel in the morning, network and sharpen their business skills during the afternoon, and be ready for FN PLATFORM  the next day.
Registration for this event is complimentary for anyone attending the show.

Exclusive NSRA Member Event!
NSRA Annual Leadership Conference is a two-day event (held in a different city each year) featuring nationally recognized speakers, business education, peer-to-peer networking, vendor exhibits and social events. Registration packages typically include all sessions and events, food & beverage, and hotel accommodations! As a benefit of membership, cost is minimal through special benefit pricing (quotes available when registration is open).
Traditional events during the conference include:

"NSRA Gives Back"Community Service Event

A traditional part of the annual conference, NSRA and Soles4Souls join together for a community service event that provides hundreds of pairs of shoes to those in need in the destination city's surrounding area. With generous participation from attending retailers and vendors, we are honored to be able provide such a rewarding shoe distribution experience.

Networking & Social Dinner Event
Each year, the conference includes a social dinner and networking event at a special location that is selected to provide a memorable experience for our guests while they network.

Networking Reception & Awards Dinner Banquet
To celebrate important industry achievements among the NSRA member community (past and present), NSRA dedicates one evening to recognize its Retailer of the Year, Vendor of the Year, and Hall of Fame Inductees. This event includes a networking reception party and formal dining experience that guests can enjoy dressing up for.
